This is the goddamn dress I want to get married in and House of Fraser won’t let me order it. I’ve placed the order for it 6 times, and every single time I awake the next morning to an email saying my order is cancelled (British spelling). Their explanation is that it’s their “security team” canceling it for “inconsistencies” in my billing and shipping address and to make sure all the information matches what is registered with my card. Complete BULLSHIT!!! Everything matches my credit card info exactly and I’ve talked to the card provider as well. After many emails and phone calls they have basically said they can’t do anything to sell it to me. There’s only one left in my size now and I really doubt I’ll find anything I like better. Goodbye, dream dress. SCREW YOU, House of Fraser!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d like to kick off beginning to post again by going a bit livejournal and updating my life since the last post, both for my records and to remember WHERE THE TIME HAS GONE! Even though this isn’t really too personal of a blog thing, and I’ve sworn off doing that, whatever.
The summer began with Squish opening the 2011 Hozac Blackout! I busted my ass screen printing posters that Mark drew and I colored, and barely got them done in time to flip and make some dollars cuz we’re po-ooor. Speaking of screen printing, I’ve sort of set up a small screen printing studio in the back of the apartment, although right now it’s crowded by UGH I can’t think of the name…those hard boards you can paint on…ah, masonite boards! For a mural that we are working on, but that comes much later. Screen printing has taken a backseat to other projects at the moment. As usual :/
June was Nancy and my last joint birthday party at least for awhile. Um, can’t remember much. I guess I drank a lot…went outside a lot…went to Wisconsin, that was fun…
In July I became an engaged woman! Nancy MOVED and I CRIED on the couch for an hour. Did summer things like go to beaches, and I found out that I’m now allergic to peaches (wtf?!). In August did more summer things. Bought a flat file for pretty cheap. Went to Lake Tahoe with family, which was weird. So, that just about brings it to now, and these current projects I am trying to find time to jam into life, such as a mural on masonite boards, new Squish songs, playing keys in the new band too, and small quilt project. Also on the back burner I have another project I’m pretty excited about that has only just begun…
